What if... ?

Usamos What if...? para 1) hacer sugerencias o bien para 2) comentar posibilidades.

Es la forma abreviada de What would happen if...? (¿Qué pasaría si...?). En la práctica se suele traducir sencillamente como ¿Y si...?

Ponemos el verbo en el Present Simple, en el Past Simple, si la probabilidad es menor, o incluso en el Past Perfect si la posibilidad ya no existe.
