had better

Usamos had better para dar consejos y recomendaciones. Significa “debería” / “más vale que” y se usa a menudo como alternativa a should y ought to.

1) Casi siempre, usamos la forma abreviada ’d en vez de had.

2) La forma negativa es had better not / ’d better not.
